Shana Crowder is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director at Modern Aesthetics, specializing in facial rejuvenation with an artistic focus on under eyes, midface, chin, and jawline contouring. Her approach centers on customized, natural-looking results that enhance each patient’s unique features while prioritizing balance and symmetry.
Shana brings over two decades of clinical nursing experience to her aesthetic practice, having begun her nursing career in 2001 and become a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009. Her diverse clinical background spans primary care, pediatrics, hospice care, home medical health assessments, and care for individuals with disabilities — giving her a depth of medical knowledge that informs every treatment plan she creates.
She is certified through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, a Biote Certified Provider in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and Ketamine Certified through Elite NP. Shana also holds credentials as a Registered Dietitian and Chemist, bringing a unique science-based perspective to skin health, hormone balance, and whole-body wellness. Her academic background includes serving as an adjunct professor at Wagner College (NY), Shenandoah University, and Hagerstown Community College.
Outside the practice, Shana treasures time at home with her two children and their dog and cat, along with a love of travel.
